An Amazon credit card gives you even bigger buying power at one of the world’s top shopping sites. With new and used products from both third-party sellers and its own massive inventory, the global retailer has something for everyone and provides a bevy of financial benefits with its branded card.

The Amazon Store Card can be used for most purchases on Amazon.com and Amazon-branded physical stores. Plus, if you opened your account before Jan. 1, 2021, you can use the card at merchants that accept Amazon Pay. Cardholders are also eligible for interest-free purchases for six, 12 or 24 months by making equal monthly payments. Plus, Amazon Prime Store Card users can earn 5% back in statement credits or Amazon rewards points on Amazon.com purchases.

After using your Amazon Store Card, you’ll need to pay your bill. Find out your options so you can avoid making a late payment.

To find your Amazon credit card balance, you can either visit the Amazon website and sign in to your account, or you can call the Amazon credit card customer service number and speak to a representative.

To edit your credit cards on Amazon, first log into your account and then click on the “Your Account” tab. Next, select the “Payment Methods” option and then click on the “Edit” button next to the credit card you want to change. You can then enter your new credit card information and save your changes.

Yes, the Amazon credit card does have an app. You can use the app to manage your account, check your balance, and make payments.

Another way is to call the Amazon customer service line and speak to a representative. They will be able to tell you your current balance and also help you resolve any issues you may be having with your card.

You can’t see your full credit card number. Your credit card number is a unique identifier that is used to track your account and process transactions. If you need to reference your credit card number, you can find it on your monthly statement or on the credit card company’s website.

To check the balance on your Amazon gift card on your phone, open the Amazon app and tap on the Menu button in the top-left corner of the screen. Then, select “Your Account” and scroll down to “Gift Card Balance.

To remove a gift card from Amazon, first sign in to your account. Then, go to Your Account and select Manage Gift Card Balance. Under the Actions column, select Remove Gift Card.

To register for Amazon Payments, you will need to provide your name, email address, and password. You will also need to provide your bank account information and verify your identity.

To pay with Amazon Payments, you’ll need to create an account and connect your bank account or debit card. Once you’re logged in, you can select “Pay with Amazon” when checking out on participating websites. You’ll be prompted to enter your shipping address and payment information.

No, Amazon credit card does not have an annual fee.

Yes, you can use your Amazon credit card on another account. To do so, simply sign in to your Amazon account and select the “Credit and Debit Cards” tab. Under “Your Credit and Debit Cards,” select “Add a New Card.” Then, enter your Amazon credit card information and select “Add Card.

Yes, you can use your Amazon credit card at any store that accepts Visa. This includes both physical stores and online stores.

To update your credit card information, please follow these steps:
Go to Settings
Click on ‘Billing’
Enter your new credit card information in the designated fields
Click on ‘Update Billing Information’
You’re done!

To change your card details on the Amazon app, open the app and go to Menu > Your Account > Payment Methods. You can then either select an existing payment method or add a new one.

There are things related to amazon credit card which are not allowed:

  • Avoid making purchases outside of Amazon, like buying from ebay.com or other sites that sell amazon gift cards.
  • You can’t use your gift card balance to buy an amazon credit card so you need to apply for a new one if you are planning on increasing your Amazon credit card limit.
  • Avoid adding additional credit cards and also removing the ones that you have. Doing so will not update your credit card information and it will make amazon.com treat the gift card balance as an invalid payment method.
  • Avoid purchasing items from different sellers using one order because this may be seen as fraud to Amazon.
  • If you think that you need to get a refund for the gift card or if your order doesn’t arrive, better contact amazon.
  • What Can You Buy with Your Gift Card Balance?
  • You can only use your gift card balance to purchase items sold by Amazon and shipped by Amazon, including items bought from other sellers on the Amazon Marketplace using “Add to Cart” and those with “Sold by Amazon” as the seller. You cannot use your gift card balance to purchase services, digital products like Kindle or MP3 downloads and subscriptions.

Amazon Pay frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is Amazon Pay?

Amazon Pay is a service that lets you use the payment methods already associated with your Amazon account to make payments for goods, services, and donations on third-party websites, in apps, and using Alexa. To make a payment, you can use any of the payment methods on file in your Amazon account. Beyond the button, shoppers can manage their payments using Amazon Pay on Amazon.com, and it’s also an easy way for you to integrate Alexa* into the shopping experience.

*Availability may vary based on Alexa Skills integration.

How do I sign up?

If you already have an account with Amazon, you only have to accept Amazon’s Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice when signing in on a non-Amazon site that accepts Amazon Pay. There is no separate registration process.

Am I protected when I use Amazon Pay?

Unauthorized charges

If there are ever unauthorized Amazon Pay charges in your personal account, you can dispute the charge with us. You must notify us as quickly as possible and no later than 13 months after the date of the transaction. Unless you’ve acted fraudulently or with negligence, you may not be held responsible for the charge. For more information, see Unauthorized charges.

Transaction disputes

When you use Amazon Pay for qualified purchases on third-party websites, the condition of the item that you buy and its timely delivery may be guaranteed under the Amazon Pay A-to-z Guarantee for Customers. If you submit payment for a product or service and you don’t receive the item or if it is materially different than advertised by the merchant, you can dispute the transaction and request reimbursement. For more information, see Buyer Dispute Programme and Transaction disputes.

Is my payment information shared with merchants?

We don’t share your full credit card, debit card, or bank account number with merchants or charitable organizations who accept Amazon Pay. We share with the merchant the payment information that is required to complete and support your transaction, which may include the last four digits of your card number and the card type.

What payment methods can be used with Amazon Pay?

Amazon Pay accepts credit and debit cards. Credit cards currently accepted include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB. The Amazon.com store card is available for use with selected merchants. To learn more, see Accepted payment methods.

What does it cost me to use Amazon Pay?

It costs you nothing. Using Amazon Pay adds no fees to your transaction with the merchant. Your purchase incurs no transaction fee, no membership fee, no currency conversion fee, no foreign transaction fee, and no other fees. Your card issuer, however, may add a foreign transaction fee if your card was issued in a country different from the merchant’s, as well as any other fees described in the terms and conditions for your card.

How do I change my account information?

You can manage most aspects of your Amazon account for Amazon Pay on Amazon.com. Go to Amazon.com, sign in, and then click Your Account. Other changes must be made on the Amazon Pay website.

For details about the information that can be changed and where to change it, see Making changes to your Amazon account information for Amazon Pay.

How do I make a payment?

When you see that Amazon Pay is an accepted payment method for a product or service that you want to purchase, just click the Amazon Pay logo or button, enter your Amazon.com email address and password, and then choose your payment method. Some charitable organizations also take donations via Alexa. For more information about making payments using Amazon Pay, see Using Amazon Pay.
